The BSc in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology at UBC Okanagan offers undergraduate students a comprehensive investigation of biodiversity from both ecological and evolutionary perspectives. The program features practical field and lab experiences as well as coursework focused on ecological theory, the evolution and maintenance of biodiversity, and practical approaches to conserving species and ecosystems. Graduates develop technical skills in statistics, laboratory and field research, and communication. The interdisciplinary curriculum prepares students for careers in conservation, research, public policy, and resource management in sectors such as government, NGOs, education, and private industry. Co-op and Honours tracks are available, and the program is accredited by the College of Applied Biology.
