The MSW (Non-Thesis) at McGill University's School of Social Work is a course-based, professional graduate program emphasizing advanced practice in social work. It prepares students for specialized roles in clinical, community, and policy settings, focusing on critical thinking, program development, and innovation. Students select one of two practice areas: Practice with Individuals and Families or International, Community, and Policy Practice. The curriculum includes core courses, electives, and a supervised field placement. There is also an option to add a specialization in Gender & Women's Studies.
