The Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Investigation (MSCTI) offered by the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine is a structured, individualized, and mentored graduate program focused on training students in the principles and practices of translational science and clinical research. The multidisciplinary curriculum is designed to prepare practitioners and researchers for the complexities of translational research design, methodology, regulatory, and ethical challenges. Graduates will demonstrate core competencies in clinical and translational research, capable of leading multidisciplinary research both independently and collaboratively. The program includes core topics such as biostatistics, research design, grant writing, team science, bioinformatics, and epidemiology, culminating in a capstone project or master's thesis that may take the form of a research grant proposal or publishable manuscript.
