The Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance (BM, Piano) at the Frost School of Music, University of Miami, is designed for talented pianists who wish to pursue professional performance careers or advanced study. The program combines individual lessons, studio classes, theoretical and historical coursework, and ensemble opportunities. Utilizing the Frost Method™, students benefit from small group collaboration with distinguished faculty and peers. All BM students are required to pursue a minor outside music to enhance interdisciplinary skills. Notably, the program fosters both classical and contemporary pianistic development and emphasizes career readiness and entrepreneurial skills for today’s music profession.
