Syracuse University’s Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, offered by the College of Arts and Sciences in partnership with the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, provides students with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. and international political institutions, processes, and issues. The flexible curriculum requires 30 credits (10 courses), including core subjects such as PSC 121 and PSC 202, and at least three courses in a chosen specialization/concentration. Students learn to apply political theories, conduct and evaluate political research, communicate effectively about politics, and engage with contemporary policy debates. Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in law, policy, public service, international affairs, journalism, advocacy, and more.
