The MFA in Sonic Practice at Dartmouth College's Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies is a fully funded, three-year program that allows composers, artists, and scholars to explore the creative and cultural aspects of sound. The program, directed by leading composer Ash Fure, provides focused mentorship, critical engagement, and community support in a state-of-the-art sonic studio. Students work across disciplines, combining composition, sound art, performance, technology, and interdisciplinary practices, culminating in a thesis project. Graduates are prepared for careers in academia, arts, and innovative sonic practices.
