The Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo is a research-based graduate program. It is designed for engineers who wish to expand their knowledge through advanced study and research, with an innovative interdisciplinary approach to solving complex engineering problems at the intersection of technology and design. Students can choose up to two of eight graduate research fields, and complete a thesis under the supervision of experienced faculty.
