The Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Education (KHE) at The University of Texas at Austin provides a multidisciplinary education in the science of human movement, health behavior, sport culture, and health promotion. The program offers several majors, including Applied Movement Science, Exercise Science, Health Promotion and Behavioral Science, Physical Culture and Sports Studies, and Sport Management. Students gain foundational knowledge in biomechanics, physiology, psychology, management, epidemiology, rehabilitation, and sociocultural aspects of human movement and public health. Graduates are prepared for careers in public and community health, education, government agencies, corporate wellness, sport management, as well as for advanced studies in allied health fields.
