The MSc in Tourism and Hospitality at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, University of Guelph, is a research-intensive graduate program designed to develop critical analytical skills and practical competences relevant to the global tourism and hospitality sectors. Students complete six advanced courses (three core, three restricted electives), write a thesis proposal, and defend a thesis judged by scholarly standards. The curriculum focuses on advanced theories, sustainable development, contemporary issues, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and data analysis. The program equips graduates for careers in consultancy, destination management, government analysis, or for progression to doctoral research.
