The Comparative Literature and Culture (CLC) major at Underwood International College, Yonsei University, is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program taught in English. It explores literature and culture from comparative and global perspectives, integrating traditional literary analysis with film, media, and cultural studies. Core topics include cultural identity, hybridity, national literatures, and media literacy. Students engage deeply with Asian, European, and American literary traditions, as well as with film, cultural theory, and new media. The program prepares graduates for creative industries, graduate studies, or careers requiring high-level cultural literacy and critical thinking.
