In 2025, PolyU's College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) / School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) is launching two AI-integrated master’s programs—one focusing on Chinese creative writing and media culture, and the other on AI- and technology-assisted language teaching. These programs emphasize not only advanced Chinese language proficiency and creativity, but also the integration of AI tools for modern digital, educational, and media environments. The Chinese Creative Writing and Media Culture program prepares students for digital-era content creation, with coursework in linguistics, cultural studies, creative writing, and multimedia production—all utilizing AI. The AI- and Technology-assisted Language Teaching program combines foundational pedagogy and linguistics with AI-integrated instructional practices, targeting innovative pedagogy for contemporary classrooms. Both programs use a bilingual (Chinese and English) teaching mode and feature strong opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning and industry engagement.
