UCL Faculty of Brain Sciences offers an intercalated Integrated BSc in Psychology designed specifically for medical students (UCL MBBS, international partnership, and eligible external MBBS). The programme introduces a wide range of areas in psychological science and how these inform medical theory and practice. Teaching typically comprises third-year psychology modules, weekly seminars with intercalating students, and a substantial research project that can be conducted in department labs or clinical settings. Assessment includes exams, coursework, and project reports. The course develops transferable skills including research methods, written and oral communication, and information organisation.
