The MLitt in Analytic and Exegetical Theology at the University of St Andrews is a one-year taught program run by the Logos Institute in the School of Divinity. The program offers advanced training in the interdisciplinary engagement of major theological themes by combining research in biblical studies, analytic philosophy, and systematic theology. Students are introduced to the methods and ideals of analytic theology, developing critical skills for assessing theological doctrines in dialogue with contemporary biblical scholarship and philosophical theology. The program includes core modules such as 'Analytic Theology: God, History and Revelation,' 'Reconciliation: Divine and Human,' and 'Persons: Divine and Human,' culminating in a research dissertation. Graduates are prepared for doctoral study or roles in academia, church leadership, and theological research.
