St Leonard’s College is the postgraduate college at the University of St Andrews, responsible for all postgraduate students including those on taught Master’s degrees. Taught Master’s degrees (e.g., MA, MSc, MLitt, MRes) are one-year full-time programs spanning a wide range of disciplines across Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, and more. The programs combine subject-specific advanced coursework, transferable skills training, and (most commonly) an independent research project or dissertation. St Leonard's College fosters a supportive community and offers academic, financial, and community support for its postgraduates. The structure, teaching, and overall experience of taught postgraduate students are continually enhanced via student feedback and national surveys. Many scholarships, such as the St Leonard's Masters Scholarship, support outstanding applicants, including both UK and international students, based on merit and background.
